W32/Navidad Worm (virus)
The worm copies itself into the Windows system directory with the filename WINSVRC.VXD and changes the registry so that it runs on Windows startup and before any file is run.
The worm also installs itself into the system tray. Presence of a blue EYE icon in the lower right corner of your screen next to the clock in the system tray.
When the cursor is placed over the EYE icon, the text, "Lo estamos mirando..." is displayed. Translated this means, we are watching it.
Removal tool along with instructions is located here : http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/d ... d.fix.html
I suggest that when you scan your computer with this tool and it removes it, that you EMAIL EVERYONE on your mail list, and point them at that site too. Aparently this worm is transmitted via mail. so everyone that is in your mail list is/was a potential target.
once you are clean, I advise that you re-think about your virus protection for your computer. if you have a virus protection package installed, then its either not configured correctly or you do not have the latest virus definitions installed.

Problem fixed
Hi Guys,
I just spotted this posting. Since I am browinsg on a Mac, I did not notice this problem for some days.
It was connected to adds from Adultfriendfiender.com - I removed them, now everything should runs smooth again.
Please test and let me know:

I have no ads on my computer whatso ever, and yet am still unable to get onto this site. I think it;s got something to do with the headers from my browser not being sent to the site (due to firewall blocking them for security), and so it sits there waiting for the information before it can load the rest of the site.. then times out and loads anyway... this is all speculitive at this time.
Can access site ,, but it has become incredibly s l o w......
Takes F O R E V E R .. TO LOAD,
Especially the larger files,, sometimes have to refresh the page several times to get all the pics to cum up...
They get the little red x's in the corners,, sometimes the only way to view them is to select each one individually..
