None Window$ OS

Post by Fishs »

2 little things

1: Any one out there using a none Window$ platform? And still seeing what wee all see on the net.

2: If i wish to go that way, And i do. What OS/Distro would you recommend.

Been checking them out, but there are so many distros out there. I'm very confused.

Thanks in advance. F

Try Suse out. I don't see why you wouldn't see what windows users see on the net.

Freebee unix based OS : hxxp://www.freebsd.org/

Just some advice - not as easy to install as any of the Windows-based OS's - you need a good knowledge of command line (DOS) processing
