Dear M,
We have a time difference (and culture difference...) in Japan and once I've finished teaching and get home and relax I usually try a bit of the old herbal.....a few beers....listen to Elgar's cello concerto...... just to wind down. Not a bad life mate.
Tomorrow, I'm going to Hokkaido for Christmas.... like minus 10 degrees and five feet of snow.....I love it.!

I think I'm slowly becoming Japanese........I'm going to check my eyes now..!
Yesterday, one of my mature students said, "You are a true samurai." and he prostrated himself at my feet..... I was fucking gobsmacked. I've only been here ten years.......
