Joining clips; make your own movies

Post by wood »

TIP: (for XP Users)

 A few days ago, I realised (DOH!) that you can join and edit clips, much better than using a free-ware or share-ware "joiner".

Using Windows Movie Maker (free to Licensed XP Users) you can simply drag and drop clips (and remove boring titles etc) and then join the clips together seamlessly. Haven't had time to explore fully but you can repeat sections at will - so you could build a movie that has (joined together clips 1,2,3,4 then A1, A2, A3, A4, etc) and then a slo-mo section of your fav money clips).

You can also add "slides" (like powerpoint).

File types include most types that I've encountered on a Windows platform - but as always be V e r y circumspect with .bmp files

Hope this helps.

Very true,

I used to use this method when recording gameplay from games like quake / medal of honnor.. and then use movie maker to paste them all together and add sound tracks and overlays ove images / text and animation..

does the job.
