sorry if anyone had virus etc but I had no problems with any of these links.

How do I check whether other people will get a virus/redirect etc if I don't?

Don't understand that either. A lot depends on where you are located. It seems that some of those things are particular. I've seen this before, where people warn about a virus and I come up clean and vice versa, where I get an attack and others surf without problems. Perhaps some of our smarter friends can explain this?
