Haven't had time to check all the other posts, so I have no idea whether these are RPs or not…

Oops – pop-up and virus hell, eh? Sorry about that.

Well I’ve just checked again and I get 10 links each leading to three short movies.

BUT I use a Mac! Could this be the problem? And if so, is it worth posting the link for Mac users only?

And perhaps in future I’d better flag a warning “Only safe for Mac users” or something.

Ooops.. thing is with any posts is this sort of thing can happen.. and it happens an awful lot. What you see as a perfectly good link may be seen as a bad one to someone else. So many factors contribute to this. Location, ISP, server changing content when they see a mass load of hits.. the list is endless.
Some of the top posters here have this happen to them so dont worry. Its our job to try and fish the dodgy links out as soon as possible. Obviously, we cant be here 24/7 so some do slip through.
Not sure if using a Mac makes a difference.

Keep posting anyway. If people have any sense, they will be fully protected. I get about 10 virus a day.
Nobody thinks the poster does it intentionally I hope. Thanks anyway

You wouldn't run into quite as many problems if you used a browser other than IE. The reason why macs seem like so strong is because most viruses are written for Windows. You'd probably be just as safe running a linux machine and visiting that site as you would running a Mac and visiting it.
