Cut and paste
Cut and paste
Several times I've see the phrase "cut and paste". What does it mean and how do you do it? Would be grateful for any info. Thanks.
"cut and paste" simply means to mark the url, then right-click, choose "copy", open a new browser window and paste the url in the address line. this is to avoid redirects due to high hits from this site.

I think everybody would agree that the Linux way to copy-and-paste is the best. I dont know if it works with all versions or not, I was running Suse with KDE but you highlight the text to copy and click the middle mouse button to paste. So efficient. (Of course, [ctrl][c] and [ctrl][v] still work...)
